Our very own Rhodes story began over 30 years ago when we, along with our five children, explored the secluded, unspoiled – and at that time still almost wild – south of the island with a tent and caravan. We quickly fell in love with the area between Plimmiri and Prasonisi. The vastness, the tranquility, and the
unique natural beauty of this region inspired us to create a second home here, far from our Austrian home.
Our adventure began with the ground-breaking ceremony in 1999. With passion, hard work, and personal effort, we built a holiday home in the traditional island
style – a place for our extended family, where we experienced countless unforgettable holiday moments over many years.
We wanted to share this special happiness. Thus, the idea matured to further develop the place and make it accessible to others.

Finally, in 2025, two new apartments were completed: the Plimmiri Villas. Set back from the main house, nestled within the spacious property and surrounded by nature, they offer a retreat for those seeking peace, tranquillity, and authenticity.
For nearly three decades, we have spent several weeks here every year – at different times of the year. We know the land and its people, the secluded beaches, the most beautiful destinations, and the small, special tavernas off the beaten track.
